BRISTOL, Tenn. — Holiday shoppers have a new reason to head to Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend. The Tri-Cities edition of Vintage Market Days comes back Friday through Sunday, Nov. 6-8, with a seasonal theme the organizers call An Appalachian Christmas.
The sale takes over the BMS South Building, which sits inside the track grounds at Entrance 2 on the south side, reached from Volunteer Parkway, also known as Highway 11E. Doors open at 10 a.m. each day. Closing time is 4 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, while the market wraps up an hour earlier, at 3 p.m., on Sunday.
Organizers bill the weekend as an upscale, vintage-style market spread across indoor and outdoor space. Shoppers will find antiques, original artwork, clothing and jewelry, handmade goods, home decor, outdoor furniture and seasonal plants, along with packaged treats to take home.
Food trucks will be parked on site so visitors can grab regional dishes between booths, giving the event a festival feel on top of the shopping.
Friday is reserved as the VIP early buying day, and entry that day costs $15. General admission on Saturday or Sunday is $10 for each adult. Families can bring children 12 and younger at no charge as long as they come with a paying adult.
For shoppers who plan to come back more than once, a three-day VIP pass sells for $48. Tickets can be bought at the gate, and every ticket allows free re-entry for the rest of the weekend, so visitors can drop purchases at the car and return.
The speedway is at 151 Speedway Blvd. in Bristol, and more details on the market are posted on the track website.
