Beverly was the devoted spouse of John E. “Jack” Hines, with whom she shared a loving marriage for 63 years. She was born on July 28, 1940, in Hartford, Connecticut, to the late Fred Beaurivage and Hilda (Theriault) Beaurivage Gesnaldo. Raised in Hartford, Beverly attended local schools and later moved to Bristol in 1968.

Career and Community Involvement

In her professional life, Beverly worked as an administrative assistant for several insurance companies, including Aetna, American Red Cross, and Pension Planning Concepts, from which she retired in 2005. Her contributions to the community extended beyond her career; she was an active parishioner at St. Gregory the Great Church and a member of the Rosary Society.

Family and Legacy

Beverly is survived by two children: Karen Robitaille of Avon and Michael Hines, along with his wife, Beth, of Bristol. Her legacy also includes five grandchildren: Christopher Robitaille and wife, Hana; Kaitlyn Brown and husband, Christian; Meghan Robitaille and fiancé, Jeff Namey; Jackson Hines; and Luke Hines, as well as one great-grandson, Beau Robitaille. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Patricia McCartan of Naples, Florida, along with several nieces and nephews.

Beverly was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Smith, and husband Irving, as well as her brother-in-law, Thomas McCartan.

Memorial Services

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for September 5, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, located at 235 Maltby St., Bristol. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, situated at 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Thursday between 4 and 7 PM.
