He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna Jean Sexton Cassell; a son, Roger Cassell, and his wife, Teresa; a sister, Vickie Arbogast; two grandchildren, Matthew and Grace Cassell; step-grandchildren, Elizabeth Hall and Justin Harvey; three step-great-grandchildren; and a special cousin, Judy Cassell, who was considered a sister to him.

Visitation and Memorial Service Details

The community is invited to pay their respects at a visitation on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rock Hill Independent Baptist Church, located at 184 Johnson Chapel Rd, Bristol, TN 37620. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held on the same day at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Preachers Darryl Fritz, Corey Brooks, and Butch Abett, with military honors provided by the United States Air Force.
