Further, he is survived by five grandchildren: Austin Caudill, Paige Bolen, Luke Holcomb, Tori Holcomb, and Kara Holcomb; as well as two great-grandchildren.

Johnny Centers

Johnny Centers, aged 78, of Jenkins, formerly of Vicco, passed away on October 3, 2025, at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Centers, and two daughters, Johna Jo Smith of Jenkins and Jennifer Holland of Hazard. Additionally, he leaves behind three brothers: Wayne Centers of West Virginia, Roy Lee Centers of Texas, and Fred Lewis of Somerset; three sisters: Judy Mitchell and Wanda Bowling of West Virginia, and Rosie Gail of Ohio; three grandchildren: Johnny Johnson of Jenkins, Ashley Johnson of Whitesburg, and Charity Hall of Ohio; alongside nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Johnny Centers were held on October 6, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Engle-Bowling Funeral Home, directed by Calvin Bates. His burial took place in the Centers Family Cemetery located at Colson. The arrangements were managed by Engle-Bowling Funeral Home of Hazard.
