BRISTOL, Tenn. — The new Dave & Buster’s opened Monday at The Pinnacle in Bristol, Tennessee, adding a large dining and arcade destination to the shopping center along the Tennessee side of the Twin City.
The building covers 30,152 square feet. Inside, the company built a family-friendly floor with video games, a restaurant and a video wall showing sporting events, giving The Pinnacle another anchor that is open from late morning into the night.
The game floor holds 111 arcade games, and the dining side offers a chef-crafted food menu. A sports bar features what the company calls its WOW Wall, a massive high-definition TV screen built for watching games with a crowd.
The jobs count is the biggest local number. Dave & Buster’s has created 150 new jobs so far, and more are expected to be hired as the location settles in. Openings cover front and back-of-house positions, including servers, bartenders, hosts, line cooks, game techs and other roles, with applications taken online through the company careers site.
City leaders see a tax benefit as well. Bristol Vice Mayor Lea Powers called the restaurant a great addition to The Pinnacle and the community, noting that about 25% of sales tax revenue goes toward education in Bristol, so busy weekends at the new site help fund local schools.
The opening adds to a run of new retail and dining at The Pinnacle, which draws shoppers from across Sullivan County and the wider Tri-Cities. Anyone interested in working at the Bristol location can still apply online as hiring continues this fall.
